Love my Garmin Forerunner 10

I’m loving it. My Garmin Forerunner 10 that is! I’ve had it for awhile now, but just now getting around to posting about it.

It is super simple. Press start. Press stop. Easy enough? With just those 2 buttons you can see:

Distance, Time, Average pace, Calories

Press another button to get your mile splits.

It does a few other things, but I haven’t delved into them yet.

Here’s a pic from one of my long runs. πŸ™‚

It’s hot pink. πŸ™‚

I bought it from Garmin over the net for 129.99. It ended up being on backorder at the time, so when I emailed them just to check on the possible delivery date they said they would waive the shipping since it was backordered. I didn’t even ask them to do that.

So hats off to Garmin for their superior customer service AND their superior product. πŸ™‚

If you want to buy one of your own (because I’m a real nice person and all but I’m not gonna share), you can check them out at GARMIN.Β πŸ™‚

What do you use when you run?

    • Tasha,

I can’t figure out complicated. You should have seen me trying to figure out what was wrong with our satellite. And I had the technician on the phone!!! πŸ™‚

  1. I have a Polar HRM, but I haven’t used it in a while. I used to use my bodybugg religiously, but got tired of paying the subscription fee. It’s time I treat myself….think I’ll check out that Garmin! Love the pink!!

  2. I’ve used a Garmin 910xt since April of last year, but prior to that I just used my iPhone. I have continued to ALSO use my iPhone on each run…just like the verbal feedback with mile splits during the run (I normally set mine to 1/2 mile splits, but whatever). πŸ™‚

    • Michael,

I’m glad I’m not carrying my phone with me anymore on my runs. I was afraid one bicep was going to get bigger than the other one. Lol!

I’m going to post in the next week or so our projects on the Transcontinental Railroad and the French and Indian War. Can’t wait to read your reaction!!! πŸ™‚

    • Wendy,

The Garmin 10 is the bomb isn’t it? Of course, I haven’t even uploaded my runs to the website. Have you?

I love hearing from you. Let's have a conversation!
