It’s Monday-What Are You Reading 6/17/13

Here we are with another chance to share wonderful books with each other thanks to Jen and Kellee over at Teach Mentor Texts and Sheila over at Book Journey who both sponsor this great meme each week for young adult/children and adult respectively!

Professional Books:

Middle Grade:

Hold Fast

Young Adult:

Eleanor and ParkThe Tragedy Paper

These were some great books I read this past week. Even though it’s summer, and I should have read A LOT more than this I’m feeling good because the National Writing Project has been CONSUMING ME. 🙂

Next up is: I Don’t Know

That’s not really the name of a book, well, it might be, but I mean I don’t know what I’m going to read next. 🙂 Lots of PD books I can tell you that!!!!!

  1. I’m behind. Haven’t read Hold Fast or even heard of the two YA. I’m going to blame it on the headache that’s making me see double screens. All the rain has sent the mold count skyrocketing. #myimmunesystemhatesme
Have so much fun at NWP this week. I have ISTE next week. But that’s only 3 days, give or take some outside stuff. 😉

  2. You sound so much like me. My two favorite things are probably running and teaching reading. Have you heard The Book Whisperer? I’m hosting a book discussion on my blog for it soon. It is by far my favorite PD book!

  3. I plan on doing lots of reading this summer. I just finished a Karen White book and I think I’m going to read the newest Nicholas Sparks book next.

    • Suzanne,

Love Nicholas Sparks!! Haven’t hear of Karen White. I’ll check her out! I just read Still Missing by Chevy Stevens. Great book!!
