End of blogging challenge

Or is it???

30 days of posts. Done!

Some of my twitter peeps decided to try and rev up their blogging and are trying to blog everyday for a year. I went with just the month of September.

I think there were 2 days where I posted twice- once to play catchup and this past Saturday to get ahead.

So I’m now 30/30 counting this senseless post where I ramble on and on…. πŸ™‚

Just so it won’t seem completely senseless (hey, I’m trying to read a book and can’t think to write an authentic one!), I’ll leave you with a picture of what my life is like at times.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way! But do you know how sore I am after raking hay? Lol!

So I’m settling in with a butterfinger bar and an Anna Quindlen book. Jealous? Thought you might be. Wink-wink.

Tomorrow I’m starting a running challenge- yeah, yeah, I know how I do in those, but this one is a ZOMBIE running challenge! And I got a tshirt. I’m hoping that will motivate me to get out of this BIG running slump I’ve been in and get back to business.

Stay tuned for my progress. Oh, and I’ll post soon about our Friday agenda independent thingie soon!

Talk to you tomorrow!

  1. I did a monthly blogging challenge for the Slice of Life sponsored by Two Writing Teachers last March. I can’t believe I did it. It was exhilarating and exhausting. The best part was meeting other bloggers who were trying to write every day, too. Congratulations on blogging through September, and good luck with the zombie running challenge. I’ve been in a running/exercise slump myself that I need to find a way out of.

    • Kay-

I bet your running slump is nothing compared to mine! I have found every excuse in the book to not run! And feel awful! Trying to change that!

It felt VERY good to blog so much- especially knowing that 1 paragraph can still be good enough. πŸ™‚

      And the streak continues!

  2. Wow! Congratulations on your 30 day challenge. The Zombie run near us was canceled last year due to a hurricane…hoping to do it this year. We just finished the Diva Dash last week…it was a fun time. πŸ™‚ Good luck on your run!

    • Wendy-

This is actually just a running challenge to run every day during October. It’s on Facebook- I even bought a tshirt! πŸ™‚ Day 1 DONE!

But I would live to actually be a part of a zombie 5k- I think. Lol!

  3. I am proud of you. And I know you probably noticed, but I have not touched my blog for about 2 weeks! I HATE that I didn’t make it the whole month, but I’m not willing to say I failed. I got 15 days in a row, by golly! Then life took over and I had to do other things. Either way, though, you rock. And hey–we still haven’t done Mystery Skype….:)

    • Jen,

You have some good excuses- they’re called young children! πŸ™‚ And 15 days is awesome!!!!!

Yes to a mystery skype soon!!! Are you doing the global read aloud with Out of My Mind? We could tie that in too.

When do you want to schedule a skype? Middle to end of this month?? πŸ™‚
