Bible Reading and Best Present

Do you own a bible?

How often do you read it?

Have you ever ready the entire bible?

I just started reading the bible back in March when I rededicated my life to Christ. I think I’ve read 11 books of the bjble so far.

I want to read the entire Bible in 2015, and have seen some reading plans.

I think I’m going to just start at the beginning and read all the way to the end.

A little over 3 chapters per day or about 22 each week.

Pretty doable. I think. 🙂

Yep- the year of 2015 will be a year of all sorts of challenges or goals for me. I’ll post more about that later.

Look at the BEST present I’ve ever received from my hubby.

Merry Christmas from him to me. 2014-2035. 🙂

I drove a corolla for 11 years and a Camry for 11 years. It. Was. Time. 🙂

So grateful and thankful!

  1. Yes, I have a Bible. I read it often, but not often enough. I admire you for planning to read the entire Bible in 2015. I am working my way through the book of Exodus and will hopefully make it through the Bible in its entirety this year. It is noce to know there is someone else out there who is dedicated to running and reading and studying the Bible. Blessings to you in 2015. The Lord be with you.

    • Angela-
It’s so nice to meet you! I bought a devotional book that will also take me throught the bible in order. I’m excited!! If you are on facebook, Good Morning Girls has a page where they are reading thru the bible only doing a chapter a day Mon-Fri. So it will take them several years, but I get so much insight from other people there. They are starting Exodus on Monday. 🙂 Here’s to the Lord, running, and reading in 2015! 🙂

  2. Last year I did the Bible in 90 days plan. It was very intense and challenging. About an hour of reading each night, but it really made me understand how gracious and merciful God is toward us. This year I plan to read the first 5 books of the Old Testament and the Gospels.

    • Brandi-
Last year I read 11 books of the Bible which was really the 1st time that i had ever read the Bible much. Now I’m HUNGRY for it! I don’t know if I could read it in 90 days though. I bought a devotional book that is taking me thru it!

I love hearing from you. Let's have a conversation!
