CrissCross Review by Lynne Rae Perkins

I do not like to give bad reviews of books. But here it goes. I was so disappointed in this book. I began reading it thinking it was going to steal my heart. It did not. I felt like nothing really happened. I also had a hard time keeping up since it switched back and forth between characters. The one positive was that the author used beautiful and expressive language which I tend to like. However, I wouldn’t recommend it to my 6th graders or really anyone. I’m sorry. šŸ™‚
